ESPN’s college football coverage for Saturday, Nov. 22, will be highlighted by telecasts involving multiple teams currently leading their respective conferences. Highlights:
- ABC will televise undefeated No. 3 Florida State against ACC foe Boston College and No. 20 Wisconsin, the top team in the Big Ten West Division, at Iowa at 3:30 p.m. ET as part of a split national telecast with reverse mirror coverage on ESPN2.
- ESPN and ABC will each televise a showdown between Pac-12 South Division rivals currently in contention for a spot in the conference title game: No. 14 Arizona (5-2 in conference) at No. 23 Utah (4-3 in conference) on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. and USC (6-2 in conference) at No. 11 UCLA (5-2 in conference) at 8 p.m. on ABC.
- SEC Network and ESPN will combine to televise the top four teams in the SEC highlighted by an SEC Network tripleheader: No. 15 Georgia (6-2 in the SEC East) against Charleston Southern at noon, one-loss No. 5 Alabama against Western Carolina at 4 p.m. and one-loss No. 1 Mississippi State against Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. An ESPN night game will pit SEC East Division leader Missouri (5-1 in conference) at Tennessee at 7:30 p.m.

ESPN’s College GameDay Heads to Cambridge for “The Game”

ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – college football’s longest-running and most-celebrated pregame show – will make its first visit to Cambridge, Mass., ahead of the 131st playing of “The Game” between Yale and Harvard. The weekly three-hour Emmy Award-winning show (Saturday 9 a.m.- noon ET) will originate from the Dillon Quad on the campus of Harvard.
Hosted by Chris Fowler, the GameDay team consists of analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack with reporting by Samantha Ponder,Tom Rinaldi, Scott Van Pelt, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski.
College GameDay nuggets:
- This is the seventh time College GameDay has originated from a non-FBS site:
- 2002 Harvard at Penn
- 2005 Southern vs. Grambling (in Houston)
- 2007 Amherst at Williams
- 2008 Hampton at Florida A&M
- 2013 Delaware State at North Dakota State
- 2014 Incarnate Word at North Dakota State
- Lee Corso has put on the winning mascot head in all six non-FBS games College GameDay has attended. That includes dressing up as Ben Franklin in 2002 when Penn beat Harvard 44-9 at Franklin Field.
- The four non-FBS schools (five games) to host College GameDay won its home game by a combined score of 218-33, with Williams and North Dakota State (both times) shutting out its opponent.

No. 1 Mississippi State, No. 5 Alabama, No. 15 Georgia Scheduled for SEC Network Saturday

On Saturday, Nov. 22, SEC Network’s tripleheader of college football games will feature three teams currently ranked by the College Football Playoff Committee as Top 15 teams*. No. 1 Mississippi State, No. 5 Alabama and No. 15 Georgia are all scheduled to play on SEC Network.
In addition, the SEC Network alternate channel will carry Eastern Kentucky at Florida. SEC Network alternate channel information can be found here. All four games will be available on WatchESPN and SECNetwork.com.

SEC Film Room Features Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema; SEC Nation visits Knoxville

On Wednesday, Nov. 22, SEC Film Room on SEC network will feature Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema after the Razorbacks snapped their 17-game SEC losing streak. During the half-hour show, airing at midnight, analyst David Greene and Coach Bielema will dissect recent Arkansas film, focusing on the Xs & Os of their success. The show will also air on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., leading into SEC Nation’s first visit to Knoxville, Tennessee.
SEC Nation, the network’s two-hour traveling pregame show, will air live in front of Ayres Hall on the University of Tennessee campus Saturday, from 10 – noon. Host Joe Tessitore Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears, Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung will preview the day of SEC games and bring the sights and sounds of the Vols’ tailgating scene prior to the Missouri at Tennessee matchup airing on ESPN.

ESPN Radio will have two matchups involving Top-10 teams on Saturday, Nov. 22, beginning with No. 7 Baylor hosting Oklahoma State at 6:30 p.m. and No. 1 Mississippi State at home against Vanderbilt at 7 p.m. Also on Saturday, ESPN Radio’s College GameDay, will broadcast live noon- 7 p.m. from the campus of Baylor University with host Matt Barrie and analysts Brad Edwards and Trevor Matich.
ESPN Radio also will have an ACC matchup as North Carolina visits Duke on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Bill Rosinski, David Norrie and Joe Schad will describe the game.
