ESPN’s extensive multiplatform coverage of Selection Sunday, March 15 – the day the 68-team field for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship is announced – will include in-depth analysis and discussion throughout the day on studio shows across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU; the SEC, American and Sun Belt Championships; and the debut of ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 documentary I Hate Christian Laettner.
Many of the sport’s top experts will contribute throughout the day, including analysts Cory Alexander, Jay Bilas, Jim Calhoun, Dan Dakich, Fran Fraschilla, Dino Gaudio, Seth Greenberg, Andy Katz, Joe Lunardi, Miles Simon, Dick Vitale, Tim Welsh and Jay Williams, and hosts Rece Davis, Chris Cotter and Anish Shroff. Greg Shaheen, who oversaw the operation of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship until 2012, will provide insight into the selection process of the Tournament Committee across ESPN platforms for a third straight season.

College Basketball Live at 11 a.m. on ESPN2 and ESPNThe special two-hour College Basketball Live – 11 a.m. on ESPN2 and continuing on ESPN at noon – will review the conference tournament results, look at the potential NCAA Championship field and preview the day’s upcoming conference championships. Davis will host with analysts Bilas, Greenberg and Williams.
Bubble Watch at 3 p.m. on ESPN2
The special two-hour Bubble Watch at 3 p.m. on ESPN2 will include host Cotter and analysts Calhoun, Dakich and Simon discussing the conference champions already in tournament, potential seeding and the teams on the bubble hoping to be one of the 68 in the field.
SportsCenter at 5:30 p.m. (or at Conclusion of American Title Game) on ESPN
In addition to reporting on the latest sports news, the SportsCenter edition following ESPN’s coverage of the American championship will provide up-to-the-minute updates of the tournament selections with host Davis and analysts Bilas, Dakich, Greenberg, Shaheen, Vitale (via satellite) and Williams evaluating the brackets shortly after they are announced. Bilas will also co-anchor the 11 p.m. edition of SportsCenter with John Buccigross.
Bracketology Presented by Staples at 7 p.m. on ESPN
The two-hour program will include extensive, in-depth analysis of the bracket in each region. Davis will host with analysts Bilas, Dakich, Greenberg, Shaheen, Vitale (via satellite) and Williams discussing multiple tournament topics and revealing their Elite Eight, Final Four and Championship teams. In addition, Katz will interview NCAA Championship Chairman Scott Barnes from Indianapolis.
Bracketology Presented by Staples at 9 p.m. on ESPN2
Extensive discussion of the tournament field will continue on ESPN2 with an additional two hours of Bracketology Presented by Staples at 9 p.m. Cotter will host with analysts Dakich and Simon providing insight and predictions for every game. In addition, a “Bracketology” National Champion will be crowned during the program.
NIT Selection Show at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU
ESPNU will reveal the NIT field on the NIT Selection Show, hosted by Matt Shick with analyst Welsh, at 8:30 p.m. ESPN will provide exclusive coverage of all 31 NIT games beginning Tuesday, March 17.
Tournament Countdown: The Experts at 9 p.m. on ESPNU
Anish Shroff will host a three-hour Tournament Countdown: The Experts on ESPNU at 9 p.m. with analysts Fran Fraschilla, Dino Gaudio, Tim Welsh and Cory Alexander providing an expert’s take on the entire tournament field and an in-depth examination of each first- and second-round game.
SEC Now Selection Special on SEC Network at 9 p.m.
SEC Network’s special one-hour SEC Now Selection Special at 9 p.m. will include an analysis of the championship field from an SEC perspective and interviews with coaches. Dari Nowkhah will host with analysts Dane Bradshaw and Tony Delk.
30 for 30 Documentary I Hate Christian Laettner Premieres on Selection Sunday
ESPN’s coverage of Selection Sunday will include the debut of the ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 documentary I Hate Christian 
Laettner at 9 p.m. on ESPN. The film, directed by Rory Karpf (The Book of Manning) and executive produced and narrated by Rob Lowe, goes beyond the polarizing persona to reveal the complete story behind this lightning rod of college basketball. He made perhaps the most dramatic shot in the history of the NCAA basketball tournament. He’s the only player to start in four consecutive Final Fours, and was instrumental in Duke winning two national championships. He had looks, smarts and game. So why has Christian Laettner been disliked so intensely by so many for so long? Maybe it was the time he stomped on the chest of a downed player, or the battles he had with his teammates, or a perceived sense of entitlement. But sometimes, perception isn’t reality.

10 Hours of Tournament Countdown Programming Monday on ESPNU
ESPNU will provide 10 hours of Tournament Countdown programming on Monday, March 16. Coverage will begin at 1 p.m. with a five-hour Tournament Countdown: Katz Korner featuring interviews with top coaches of teams in the championship, analysis from Alexander and Gaudio, and tournament predictions.
Programming will continue at 6 p.m. with Tournament Countdown: College Basketball Live. Hosted by Matt Schick with and analysts Adrian Branch and Welsh, the three-hour show will include discussions on how to beat undefeated Kentucky and the team with the best chance, the team of the 1990s, the most clutch players in this season’s field and the double-digit seed most likely to hand out an upset. Tournament Countdown: The Experts at 9 p.m. – hosted by Shroff with analysts Alexander, Branch, Gaudio and Welsh – will provide a look at why teams will advance, debates on the best matchups and analysts picking this year’s national champion.
ESPN Radio’s Selection Sunday Show Begins at 5:30 p.m.
ESPN Radio will preview the field on the Selection Sunday Show from 5:30 – 10 p.m. The show will include host Paul Finebaum and analysts Kara Lawson and Bob Valvano discussing the brackets as they are revealed, insights from additional ESPN college basketball analysts, and interviews with multiple coaches. The NCAA Championship Chairman Scott Barnes is scheduled to join the show during the 9 p.m. hour.
ESPN.com Tournament Challenge
ESPN Men’s Tournament Challenge – the nation’s No. 1 bracket game – and ESPN Women’s Tournament Challenge both return for their 18th seasons and will once again be free for entrants to submit up to 10 entries on ESPN.com. At the end of the tournament, all Men’s Tournament Challenge entries that finish in the top 1 percent are entered in a random drawing to win a trip for two to the 2015 Maui Invitational and a $20,000 Best Buy Gift Card prize. In the Women’s Tournament Challenge, entries that finish in the top 1 percent are entered in a random drawing for a $5,000 Best Buy Gift Card. Entries for the Men’s Tournament Challenge game will be accepted until just prior to the tip-off of the Tournament’s first game on Thursday, March 19. The Women’s Tournament Challenge will accept registration until just prior to tip-off of the first game on Saturday, March 21.
Last year, the Men’s Tournament Challenge game was again the most popular bracket game in the nation, with more than 11.01 million brackets, up 35.1 percent compared to the previous year and setting a new record. At the peak period, fans registered 11,983 brackets per minute (199 brackets per second), among those of which was a bracket from President Barack Obama.
