ESPN and ABC will present exclusive, multi-day, multiplatform coverage of AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026 from Chicago, July 24-25. On Friday, July 24, coverage begins with WNBA Countdown presented by Google Pixel at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, followed by the Kia WNBA Shooting Stars and State Farm WNBA 3-Point Contest during Shooting Stars at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, Disney+ and the ESPN App.

On Saturday, July 25, coverage begins with a special edition of WNBA Countdown presented by Google Pixel at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, followed by the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC, Disney+ and the ESPN App. WNBA Postgame Show presented by AT&T will conclude the evening at 10:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Veteran play-by-play voice Ryan Ruocco, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Rebecca Lobo and reporter Holly Rowe will call the action on both Friday and Saturday. Malika Andrews will host WNBA Countdown Presented by Google Pixel live from Chicago alongside analysts Andraya Carter, Chiney Ogwumike and Monica McNutt.

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon will serve as the teams’ general managers and be positioned on their respective benches throughout Saturday’s game. Both will also participate in live, in-game interviews.

ESPN will utilize more than 20 cameras throughout the arena to provide coverage from every angle. The production will include high-speed cameras for slow-motion replays and a shallow depth-of-field RF camera to deliver a cinematic view of the on-court intensity and in-arena excitement. Additional production enhancements will be announced.

On Friday, some of the league’s most skilled players will compete in the Kia WNBA Shooting Stars and State Farm WNBA 3-Point Contest. Participating players will wear microphones during the competitions, providing viewers with enhanced access and reaction throughout the evening.

Saturday’s All-Star Game coverage will feature extensive player access, including players wearing microphones during game action, live headset interviews and conversations with the teams’ legendary general managers from the benches.

As the WNBA celebrates its 30th season, the broadcast will also revisit memorable moments from three decades of WNBA All-Star Games and showcase the players, performances and milestones that have defined the event.

ESPN Original Docuseries Life in the W Premieres July 24

The six-part ESPN Original docuseries Life in the W will premiere Friday, July 24, during WNBA All-Star Weekend on ESPN2 at 10 p.m. ET. All six episodes will also be available on the ESPN App for ESPN Select and Unlimited plan subscribers and Disney+.

Produced by UNINTERRUPTED in association with Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios and DICK’S Sporting Goods’ in-house content and production studio, the series provides authentic access to three of the WNBA’s most accomplished and influential players during a groundbreaking year.

Executive-produced by showrunner Trishtan Williams, Life in the W follows A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and DeWanna Bonner as they navigate pivotal moments in their professional and personal lives amid the continued rise of women’s sports.

Through exclusive behind-the-scenes access, the series captures the realities of life at the highest level of women’s basketball, offering viewers a front-row seat to the sacrifices, pressures, leadership responsibilities and defining moments that come with being among the game’s elite athletes.

ESPN.com On-Site Coverage

Michael Voepel, Alexa Philippou, Kendra Andrews, Kareem Copeland and Katie Barnes will be on site in Chicago, delivering comprehensive coverage throughout WNBA All-Star Weekend, including breaking news, live insights, analysis and original features.

Voepel will grade every player’s performance in Friday’s State Farm WNBA 3-Point Contest and Kia WNBA Shooting Stars along with Saturday’s AT&T WNBA All-Star Game. ESPN.com’s coverage leading into the weekend will also include midseason grades and first-half MVP selections for all 15 teams, along with features examining the future of the WNBA.

Following All-Star Weekend, ESPN.com will assess what each team must do during the second half of the season to strengthen its playoff push.


Ego Nwodim Leads ESPN’s WNBA All-Star Campaign

Ego Nwodim serves as the face and voice of ESPN’s WNBA All-Star marketing campaign, guiding fans through the weekend while spotlighting the athletes, storylines and can’t-miss moments that make WNBA All-Star special.

ESPN at WNBA Live

From Thursday at 5 p.m. through Saturday at 7 p.m. CT, ESPN will activate at WNBA Live with several fan experiences celebrating 30 years of the WNBA on ESPN.

Fans will have the opportunity to sit behind ESPN’s iconic SportsCenter desk for a photo experience featuring a commemorative backdrop celebrating the network’s three decades of WNBA coverage.

The activation will also include an exclusive merchandise shop featuring WNBA superfan gear and merchandise inspired by the three WNBA athletes (A’ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier and DeWanna Bonner) from all-new ESPN Original docuseries Life in the W. Fans will have the opportunity to customize their Life in the W tee with a custom heat press patch.

ESPN Lights Navy Pier’s Centennial Wheel

On Friday from 8:30–10 p.m. CT, Navy Pier’s Centennial Wheel will illuminate the Chicago skyline in ESPN red, with the ESPN logo featured at the center of the wheel. The display will remain live throughout ESPN’s WNBA All-Star drone show.

ESPN WNBA All-Star Drone Show

On Friday at 9 p.m. CT, ESPN will present a drone show near Navy Pier celebrating the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game and ESPN Original Series Life in the W.

ESPN Social Coverage Plans

ESPN Social will provide on-site coverage throughout WNBA All-Star Weekend, with Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles serving as the Orange Carpet correspondent on Thursday. During Saturday’s All-Star Game, fans will get closer to the action through mic’d-up content, while creator Alexa Stone will provide live coverage through ESPN’s Threads account as part of a partnership with Meta. 

Coverage will be led by espnW’s social accounts, the leading women’s sports and culture brand on social media, generating more total engagements and reaching more followers than any other brand in the space.

Vibe Check at WNBA All-Star

Disney+’s weekday studio show Vibe Check will bring fans closer to WNBA All-Star Weekend throughout the event. On Thursday, the show will capture interviews and memorable moments with the weekend’s stars from the Orange Carpet. Friday’s episode will feature Lawrencia Moten in conversation with Indiana Fever forward Mo Billings. On Monday, Courtney Cronin, Moten and Angel Gray will recap the weekend’s top storylines, standout performances and most memorable moments.

Hoop Streams and The Wrap-Up Live Courtside

ESPN will produce two digital shows live from courtside in Chicago on Saturday, July 25.

WNBA Hoop Streams Presented by Google Pixel will stream from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, leading directly into the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game. Courtney Cronin, Lawrencia Moten and Angel Gray will preview the matchup and be joined by special guests, including WNBA players.

Immediately following the game, The Wrap-Up Presented by AT&T will stream live from courtside. Cronin, Moten and Gray will recap the night’s biggest moments and welcome additional special guests and players.
