A week away from the debut of X Games Minneapolis July 13–16, ESPN Vice President, X Games, Tim Reed shares some insight into the preparation for the event.

What’s it like constructing a course at U.S. Bank Stadium – the home of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, producing scenics for the television coverage and marketing to a new region? Reed provides answers in this video.

The X Games will feature more than 200 of the world’s best action sports athletes competing for medals and prize money in BMX, Skateboard and Moto X disciplines.

Beginning Thursday, July 13, ESPN and ABC will televise a combined 18.5 hours of live X Games Minneapolis 2017 coverage.
