For the first time in 2014, Sunday Night Baseball and Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown will hit Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. to celebrate 100 years of the historic ballpark and to document the continuation of one of the sport’s classic rivalries: the Chicago Cubs versus the St. Louis Cardinals.
But this week, there’s a twist.
“The voice” of Sunday Night Baseball – Dan Shulman – will be putting his unmistakable chops to the test when he and his booth-mate John Kruk sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch.
They become the latest ESPN commentator and analysts to continue Cubs broadcasting legend Harry Caray’s legacy of singing the classic tune.

To help prepare Shulman and Kruk, ESPN Radio’s Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic of Mike & Mike (see video above), and ESPN NFL analyst and former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka (video below) – all experienced “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” Wrigley Field singers – offered the Sunday Night duo a little advice on how to approach their big musical moment.
