Those who began work at 5 a.m. MT on today’s live Colorado Springs, Colo., coverage of ESPN’s week-long Veterans Day activation were greeted with a winter storm as these photos illustrate. The SportsCenter day-long telecast from the U.S. Air Force Academy is a highlight of a week of programming and other initiatives across platforms as ESPN recognizes Veterans Day with the company’s seventh annual America’s Heroes salute.

SportsCenter segments from the Air Force Academy are being anchored by Hannah Storm and Kevin Negandhi, airing from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. ET, with additional segments to air in the 6 p.m. and evening editions.

SportsCenter coverage is coming to you from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in honor of Veterans Day today.
