Welcome to another edition of #TBT: Throwback Thursday. This week we offer a look back at a couple of our old NBA studio programs.
The NBA season on ESPN and ABC has kicked into high gear and Sage Steele has settled nicely into her newest role as host of Kia NBA Countdown, the network’s studio “wrap” show.
ESPN’s first studio wrap show was hosted by Greg Gumbel, who then served as a SportsCenter anchor and host of This Week in the NBA as well. John Andariese joined Gumbel on NBA Tonight which premiered in 1982, the first year ESPN televised NBA games.
