“Rivalry Week” (5x fast!)

Feature

February 6, 2017

Rivalry Week presented by Wendy’s – ESPN’s staple franchise showcasing matchups between many of the game’s top rivals – has seen some of the best players, coaches and teams in the nation, many in-state and conference rivals on ESPN networks over the years.

Beginning today, Feb. 6-12, there will be close to 60 men’s and women’s college basketball games, from 15 conferences, on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNEWS. The schedule is highlighted by one of the top rivalries in the men’s game, No. 8 North Carolina at No. 18 Duke on Thursday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN/ESPN3 Surround/ESPN3 in Spanish), with College GameDay Covered by State Farm live onsite starting at 7 p.m.

Over the years, the phrase “Rivalry Week” has taken on its own meaning when spoken too fast – leading to some bloopers captured from some of ESPN’s favorite basketball analysts and reporters – poking fun at themselves!
