This is the best rating in Baltimore for a regular-season Major League Baseball game on ESPN. The game delivered a 4.4 in the New York City market and a 1.8 nationally.
ESPN’s new Sunday Night Baseball team – Dan Shulman, Orel Hershiser, John Kruk with Buster Olney reporting – provided commentary for the game. The next Sunday Night Baseball telecast is April 21, at 8 p.m. ET, when the Philadelphia Phillies host the St. Louis Cardinals.
