Andy Roddick, who joined ESPN as a tennis analyst beginning with The Championships, Wimbledon 2026, is no stranger to the grass courts that define tennis’ most prestigious stage. He came close to winning it all, three times.
Now, Roddick is back at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, but this time he’s breaking down all the action live from ESPN’s studio perched right on Court 18 and the booth.
The former world No. 1 reached three Wimbledon finals, claimed 32 ATP Tour singles titles and retired in 2012 as one of the most accomplished American players of his generation before being inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2017.
He brings that firsthand knowledge, along with a co-hosting role on the weekly tennis podcast “Served with Andy Roddick” to ESPN’s coverage of the tournament, which runs through Sunday, July 12.
In the video above, Roddick reflects on returning to Wimbledon, his first days in the booth and on set and what it has been like working alongside his new colleagues and good friends commentators James Blake and Chris Eubanks.
