The 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on ESPN and ABC platforms culminated in a historic victory Sunday for South Carolina, which completed an undefeated season with a thrilling win over Iowa.

As SportsCenter anchor and ESPN Women’s Tournament studio host Elle Duncan notes in the video above, ESPN’s exceptional coverage was accompanied by record-breaking viewership numbers, as outlined below.

The surge continues as the WNBA season is on the horizon: The 2024 WNBA Draft airs Monday, April 15, 7:00 p.m. ET, on ESPN – national player of the year Caitlin Clark of Iowa is the expected first overall choice of the Indiana Fever; the league’s schedule on ESPN platforms was just released today.
