ASPEN, Colo. – Action sports made a triumphant return this past weekend at Buttermilk Mountain with 17.5 hours of live content across three days of X Games Aspen competition on ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, @XGames socials and the ESPN App.

As the first action sports event to occur in North America since the pandemic put such large competitions on hold, congratulations go out to the team behind it. The team worked tirelessly to prepare for the event, the first in the Aspen edition’s 20-year history without spectators.

It’s impossible to spotlight everyone who put this together, but these are several employees who led the way:

Jeff Hermanek

Sharon Bauer

Danny Chi

Sheena Williams
