This week’s Monday Night Football game – the Atlanta Falcons visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8:15 p.m. ET) – will be a special night for ESPN’s Jon Gruden. The former NFL head coach, who led the Bucs to their only Super Bowl championship in franchise history, will be inducted into the Buccaneers’ Ring of Honor at halftime.

In the video above, Gruden shares memories of coaching the Bucs and how he found out the team was going to honor him. Still a Tampa resident, Gruden will have family members and friends at Raymond James Stadium on Monday to congratulate him, in addition to his ESPN colleagues on the MNF crew.

Shelby L. Lacy and Bill Hofheimer produced the video.
