They grew up together.
Growing up, they played many a tennis match against each other. . .not to mention ping pong in the basement and many other sports.
They both went to Stanford and separately helped lead the Cardinals to the NCAA championship.
They played on the pro tennis tour together – sometimes across the net, sometimes on the same side of the net in doubles.
Now they work together for ESPN.
But just how well do John and Patrick McEnroe know each other?
