From SportsCenter’s early Thursday entrance with a special 8 a.m. ET edition, all the way through the wee hours of Friday morning’s Futbol Picante on ESPN Deportes, there was no need to stray far from ESPN’s screens and sounds as the network blanketed the World Cup, the NBA Finals and the U.S. Open.
