MNF Open: Ravens-Jaguars

Feature

October 25, 2011

| Sheldon Spencer

The Oct. 24 Monday Night Football game was a defensive slugfest.

The host Jacksonville Jaguars upset the Baltimore Ravens, 12-7. The Jags’ offense relied on its sparkplug running back Maurice Jones-Drew to rush for 105 yards, setting up four Josh Scobee field goals in the process.

How do the 5-foot-7 Jones-Drew and 5-8 Ravens counterpart Ray Rice — who was held to a mere 28 yards against the Jags — normally excel in the NFL?

The MNF crew got some help from ESPN’s Sport Science team to explain it all in the video above.
