Yesterday, the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard seemed to be interviewed in ESPN’s Connecticut studios…yet it was just minutes before taking the court in Orlando to play Cleveland.  How could Howard accomplish this feat?  A body double?  Superman Powers?  No.  Through the use of ESPN’s new Ultimate Uplink technology, Howard appeared in the studio via a hologram-type production element developed by ESPN’s emerging technology team.  It has the potential to offer immediate reaction with newsmakers in a more engaging manner.  Click here to see the Ultimate Uplink.
