College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – college football’s longest running and most celebrated pregame show – is averaging 1,992,000 television viewers and an additional 41,000 average minute impressions on WatchESPN through the first five episodes of this season. As a result, this season is the most-watched and most-streamed first five weeks of College GameDay since the Emmy Award-winning show expanded to three-hours on ESPN (August 31, 2013*).

**Through season’s first five weeks; previous to 2013, College GameDay aired for two hours on ESPN

This season’s 1,992,000 average television viewership through the first five weeks represents a 15% and 5% increase over 2014’s and 2013’s first five weeks, respectively, and, on WatchESPN, an 87% and 163% increase in average minute impressions over the same two years.

Additional 2015 College GameDay Highlights:

  • The 2015 season debut from Fort Worth was the most-viewed regular-season episode (2,232,000 viewers) since the show expanded to three hours on ESPN (35 episodes*). This past Saturday’s episode (Week 5) from Clemson, S.C., ranks as the fourth most-watched show (2,144,000 viewers) in the same time period:

  • On WatchESPN, the five most-streamed episodes ever of College GameDay have been this season, with Week 5 from Clemson setting the high-water mark across all metrics: 46,000 average minute impressions, 196,000 unique viewers, and 8,200,000 live minutes viewed.

College GameDay Returns to Salt Lake City
This week College GameDay will make its third-ever stop on the campus of the University of Utah on Saturday, Oct. 10, airing 9 a.m.- noon on ESPN from Presidents Circle. The three-hour show is the precursor to ESPN College Football presented by Capital One matchup between No. 5 Utah and No. 23 California at 10 p.m.  Dave Pasch, Brian Griese and Tom Luginbill will have the call of the game.
