Innovation and technology continue in the new year at ESPN as the company unveiled plans for ESPN 3D, a new network to launch June 11 with the first 2010 FIFA World Cup match, South Africa hosting Mexico. The network will show approximately 85 events in its first year, including up to 25 FIFA World Cup matches, NBA, college football and college basketball.
