ESPN’s college football game schedule for Saturday, Oct. 25, will include six prime time telecasts involving at least one ranked team, highlighted by three of the top five: undefeated No. 3 Ole Miss at No. 24 LSU (7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN), one-loss No. 4 Alabama at Tennessee (7:30 p.m. on ESPN2) and one-loss No. 5 Auburn against South Carolina (7:30 p.m. on SEC Network).
Saturday night matchups involving a ranked team include No. 13 Ohio State, with a 5-1 record, at Penn State on ABC at 8 p.m.; one-loss No. 14 Arizona State at Washington at 10:45 p.m. on ESPN; and No. 21 Clemson against Syracuse on ESPNU at 7 p.m.
The Saturday afternoon lineup will be highlighted by three one-loss ranked teams beginning with No. 11 Kansas State against Texas and No. 16 Nebraska against Rutgers at noon on ESPN and ESPN2, respectively. ABC will televise No. 8 Michigan State against Michigan at 3:30 p.m.

ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – college football’s longest running and most celebrated pregame show – will make a stop in Baton Rouge, La. for a SEC West showdown between AP-ranked No. 3 Ole Miss (7-0) and No. 24 LSU (6-2) on Saturday, Oct. 25 (7:15 p.m. ET, ESPN). The weekly three-hour Emmy Award-winning show (Saturday 9 a.m. – noon) will originate from the Parade Grounds on the LSU campus.
Hosted by Chris Fowler, the GameDay team consists of analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack with reporting by Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, Scott Van Pelt, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski. Fowler, Herbstreit and Heather Cox will have the call of the game between Ole Miss and LSU.
College GameDay Nuggets:
- This is the 10th time College GameDay will originate from Baton Rouge, La.. LSU is just 5-4 in the previous nine games and has lost the last three (two to Alabama, one to Florida, each of which were ranked No. 1 at the time).
- LSU is 3-4 in seven SEC home games with College GameDay in attendance, with five of the seven games decided by seven points or less. All three LSU wins were by seven points or less.
- Including bowls and SEC Championship games, this is the 23rd time College GameDay will originate from an LSU game. LSU is 14-8.
- Lee Corso has put on headgear representing 50 different teams, but has never chosen Ole Miss.

SEC Network: SEC Nation Spends Saturday in Kentucky; Tripleheader Game Schedule

SEC Network heads into week nine of the 2014 college football kicking off Saturday, Oct. 25, with SEC Nation live in Lexington, Ky. from 10-noon ET followed by a tripleheader of Southeastern Conference gridiron action.
Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears, Paul Finebaum, host Joe Tessitore and reporter Kaylee Hartung will bring the sights & sounds of the tailgating scene prior to No. 1 Mississippi State at Kentucky football game. The network’s traveling pre-game show will be live from the Purple Lot at the intersection of College Way and Alumni Drive.

Virginia Tech: Thursday Night Record

ESPN’s Thursday night telecast will pit Miami (Fla.) at Virginia Tech at 8 p.m. It will mark Virginia Tech’s second straight ESPN Thursday night game this season and the program’s 29th overall, the most among all programs. The Hokies – with a 20-8 overall record and 11-4 at home in Thursday night games – have never hosted the Hurricanes on the weeknight series, but have played them twice on the road, losing both (16-14 in 2008 and 30-12 in 2012). Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer spoke about playing Thursday night games while at ESPN this summer.

ESPNU Road Trip Visited Tallahassee for No. 5 Notre Dame at No. 2 Florida State

ESPNU Road Trip (Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m.) traveled to Tallahassee, Fla., this past weekend for a top 5, primetime showdown between No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 2 Florida State.
Highlights include:
- All-Access: Seminoles running back Karlos Williams, who scored two touchdowns including the game winner vs. Notre Dame, gave ESPNU Road Trip a tour of the remodeled football locker room.
- Great Catch: Seminoles wide receiver Rashad Greene and tight end Nick O’Leary demonstrate their skills on the field while demonstrating to hosts Jordan Eichenblatt and Rayven Tirado how to best master the receiving skill.
- Circus Act: Florida State is one of two university-sanctioned student-performer circuses in the country and ESPNU Road Trip spent a day with FSU’s “Flying High Circus” to see what it was all about.
