Baseball Tonight to Reveal Top 25 on March 27
ESPN.com’s annual ranking of the best Major League Baseball players returns today – Monday, March 17 – beginning with a ranking of the Top 10 second basemen across the league. The #BBTN100 project culminates with the unveiling of the Top 25 players on Thursday, March 27, during a special edition of Baseball Tonight with Karl Ravech, Baseball Hall of Famer and analyst Barry Larkin, analyst Manny Acta and ESPN MLB Insiders Buster Olney and Keith Law at 10 p.m. ET.
Throughout the 10-day period, ESPN.com will name the Top 10 players at each position daily. The countdown to the final 25 will begin the morning of March 27, as numbers 25-100 are revealed online at ESPN.com. More than 30 ESPN commentators voted on the #BBTN100, ranking the players with a score of 1 to 100. Average scores were tabulated to determine overall and positional rankings.
