Winter X Games Aspen 2012 Kick-Off Bash to Benefit The V Foundation and Boarding For Breast Cancer

The V Foundation for Cancer Research and Boarding for Breast Cancer will unite to officially kick off Winter X Games 2012 with this one-of-a-kind charity event to benefit cancer research, awareness and education. Returning for a fourth year, the benefit will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Smuggler Room and Foundation Courtyard at the St. Regis Hotel in downtown Aspen. During this family-friendly event, guests can interact with Winter X Games athletes, enjoy a musical performance and fireside food and drinks. In addition, there will be a silent auction on items that will include:  autographed items from Shaun White, Torah Bright, Travis Pastrana and Tucker Hibbert; snowboards; a spa day; experience with an iconic athlete and more.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with The V Foundation and Boarding for Breast Cancer once again for this terrific evening,” said ESPN’s Chris Stiepock, vice president, content and sponsorship development. “We thank Aspen and the entire community for their continuous support, and I can’t think of a better way to kick off Winter X Games 2012 than raising money for a great cause.”
Tickets are $75 if purchased in advance online at www.bellyupaspen.com or in person at the Belly Up Aspen box office. Tickets purchased at the door are $100.
